Thank you for registering as a candidate on our website.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of interpreting these Terms and Conditions of Use, the following terms shall have the meanings attributed to them below:

  • The Wise Seeker: The Wise Seeker S.L.
  • User: Any natural or legal person who visits the Website.
  • Candidate: A User registered as a job seeker on the Website.
  • Company: A User registered as a job provider on the Website.
  • Terms and Conditions of Use: These conditions.
  • Services: The services offered and provided by The Wise Seeker on this Website.
  • My Account: A restricted access area for the Candidate.


2. Identification Details

The Website is owned and managed by The Wise Seeker S.L., with VAT ID B88209929 and address at Calle Almagro nº1, 2ª izda., 28010 Madrid, with whom as a User you subscribe to these Terms and Conditions of Use in their capacity as a Provider of Information Society Services.


3. Objeto

These Terms of Use regulate the requirements for acquiring the status of Candidate and the rights and obligations associated therewith, as well as the rules for accessing, installing, and using the Website. The main purpose is to facilitate your job search and to inform you, as a Candidate, about matters that may enhance your access to the job market, offering, among others, the following services:

  • Free registration as a Candidate in our database.
  • Creation and management of your curriculum vitae. For this purpose, if you wish to create your CV, you can access our website at https://www.thewiseseeker.com/buscar-empleo.
  • Conducting and managing job searches.
  • Creation and management of your own job alert notifications for offers posted on the Website.
  • Spontaneous or suggested access to job offers from The Wise Seeker or third-party Companies.
  • Spontaneous or suggested access to potential training opportunities.
  • Evaluation and management of your job application for job offers from The Wise Seeker or third-party Companies in which you may be interested, either directly or upon specific proposal from these Companies.
  • Sending electronic communications regarding job offers that may interest you or positions to which you have applied.

The various Services available to you as a Candidate may be varied by The Wise Seeker without prior notice. In case any of the offered Services have particular conditions, you will be informed of them and must accept them prior to their provision.


4. Free Nature of Services

The provision of Services by The Wise Seeker will generally be free of charge for Candidates unless expressly stated otherwise, in which case you must accept the corresponding specific conditions prior to their provision.


5. Requirements for Registration

Any natural person with full legal capacity to contract who subscribes to these Terms of Use may register as a Candidate. Emancipated minors aged sixteen (16) or older may also register.

Your registration as a Candidate implies that you have read these Terms and Conditions of Use, the Legal Notice, and the Privacy Policy of the Website (in the version published at the time of your registration) prior to acceptance, and that you have expressly accepted them without reservation, with the ability to store and reproduce them.


6. Candidate Registration

To acquire the status of Candidate, you must register by entering an email address as an identifier and a freely chosen password (hereinafter referred to as "Credentials") on the Website. Subsequently, a message will be sent to the email address provided to verify the email address and validate your registration process. If you do not complete the verification cycle through the message received in your email, the registration as a Candidate will not be processed.

Once registration is processed, the generated Credentials will enable you to access a personalized area on the Website where, as a Candidate, you can complete a profile with all information you deem relevant for job search purposes, including contact details: name and surname, email address, headline, location, space to upload your CV, and your current availability for work.

You will then need to enter and confirm your password.

You may freely modify your profile and Credentials by accessing "My Profile Information" and "My Account - Edit My Personal Data," respectively. Additionally, you can allow connections with other websites that enable your identification, such as LinkedIn, by inserting the URL.


7. Right to Suspend or Delete Registration

We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately if you fail to comply with any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

You may delete your registration at any time from your own account.

The suspension or deletion of your registration and your right to use this Website will not affect the legal rights or responsibilities of either party.


8. Use of Credentials

The Credentials used during your registration process are personal and non-transferable. Therefore, you agree to use them diligently and take all reasonable measures to protect them. The Wise Seeker assumes no responsibility if you share and/or disclose these Credentials to third parties. In case of loss, theft, or unauthorized use of Credentials, you must promptly notify The Wise Seeker so that appropriate measures can be taken.

The Wise Seeker presumes, until you report their loss, theft, or misuse, that accesses through your Credentials are made by you.


9. Candidate's Obligations

All information you provide must be truthful. To this end, you guarantee the authenticity of all data communicated as a result of completing the forms on the Website. Similarly, it is your responsibility to keep all information provided to The Wise Seeker permanently updated so that it reflects your current situation at all times. In any case, you will be solely responsible for any false or inaccurate statements you make and for any damages caused to The Wise Seeker or third parties due to the information provided.

You commit to using the Website diligently, correctly, and lawfully, in accordance with the law, the Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy, these Terms and Conditions of Use, and any other notices, usage rules, and instructions brought to your attention, as well as with generally accepted morals and good customs and public order.

To this end, you must refrain from using any of the Services for unlawful, prohibited, harmful to the rights and interests of third parties, or any way that may damage, disable, overload, deteriorate, or prevent the normal use of the Website.

The Wise Seeker reserves the right to deny or withdraw your access to the Website at any time and without prior notice if you breach these Terms and Conditions of Use.


10. Liability

The Wise Seeker cannot guarantee the existence or availability at all times of all job offers mentioned on the Website, nor can it guarantee the final terms or duration of offers accessed through them. The Wise Seeker also cannot guarantee that a Company, at a particular time or stage, will request information about the application of a specific Candidate, or propose to conduct an interview, or ultimately hire individuals interviewed or applied through The Wise Seeker. Therefore, The Wise Seeker will be exempt from any liability in both cases.


The Wise Seeker will not be responsible for your relationships as a Candidate with third parties, even if such relationships arise from access to the Website. In the event of any claims or legal actions between Candidates and third parties, the Candidate releases The Wise Seeker and any of its employees, suppliers, and other collaborators from all liability, agreeing to indemnify them in respect thereof.


The Wise Seeker will be exempt from any liability arising from access to and use of the Website (performance failures, interruptions or delays in service, system or line failures, etc.), even if any failure or malfunction causes damage to third-party computer tools.


However, The Wise Seeker declares that it has diligently adopted the necessary measures, within its means and state of technology, to ensure the operation of the Website and to prevent the existence and transmission of viruses and other harmful components.


11. Job Offers from Third Parties

We inform you that third-party Companies, entirely unrelated to The Wise Seeker, may be authorized by The Wise Seeker to publish their own job offers on the Website. You can identify these offers in the description because the contact details will belong to the third-party Company, and clicking "apply" will redirect you to the third-party Company's Website. You understand and accept that although The Wise Seeker strives to review the text of the ads before publication, especially regarding their content, the accuracy of the job offers published, or the actual availability of such positions, The Wise Seeker is not responsible for the ads and job offers published by third-party Companies on the Website.


If you detect any ad published by third-party Companies that you believe to be fraudulent or contrary to these Terms and Conditions of Use or current legislation, you may report it via email to soporte@talentjobseeker.com.


12. Privacy Policy

At The Wise Seeker, we take your personal data seriously when you use our services and commit to keeping your personal data completely secure.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union, and Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights, we inform you that your personal data will be processed in accordance with the requirements established in the aforementioned regulations.

13. Partial Nullity

If any provision or provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Use are declared null or void, they shall be deemed not to have been included and shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall in any case be supplemented and interpreted in such a way as to fill, if necessary, the regulatory gaps left by the provisions declared null.


14. Gender-Neutral Clause

In this text, the masculine gender has been used generically to encompass both male and female users, candidates, without disregarding gender differences, in order to avoid overly complex writing.


15. Applicable Legislation and Competent Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions of Use and the relationship between The Wise Seeker and you as a candidate shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law. Any dispute arising from access to or use of the Website and its content shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and competence of the Courts of Madrid (Spain), without prejudice to the application of any mandatory legal provisions to the contrary, in which case the content thereof shall apply.
